It seems that of this week, Portsmouth will degradation from Premier League early. This verdict come out because their owner Balram Chainrai decide today (Friday 26/2) is the last deadline Portsmouth to get a new investor. Portsmouth hope the investor will give much money for pay their debt as big as more than 70 million pounds plus tax 18 million pounds. If fail, The Pompey must makes liquidation.
Because of this liquidation, Premier League will decrease 9 points for Portsmouth with 16 points they have, so hard for Portsmouth to hold out in Premier League. Portsmouth also must sale their players in the end of this season. But, Portsmouth says that they optimistic will finish with good results.
“There are little chance for buyer candidate come with much money, we must realistic and always try because the bad thing is not our option”, Chainrai Staff, Phil Hall.
